On Thursday, October 28, 2010 the Skate With Daniel Committee presented to the SickKids Doctors, staff and the SickKids Foundation a cheque for $88,011.11 net amount.

The fourth annual Skate with Daniel took place on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Thornhill Community Centre Arena. Funds raised support the Daniel Bertoia Family Endowment Fund and b.r.a.i.n.child at the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation for brain tumour research.

The event included hockey games, leisure skating, various fundraising activities, an amazing silent auction and other fun events.

Eighteen teams and over 250 players played hockey each player wearing Daniel's No. 11.

Skate with Daniel is supported by the NHL Alumni and the National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA) and the many sponsors and event supporters.

Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Association Greg Hotham and Kevin Maguire attended and played hockey.

NHL Referee Greg Kimmerly attended and refereed.

Anthony Peluso, drafted by the St. Louis Blues (formerly of the Brampton Battalion) was on hand to lend support once again.
